Watercolour Painting at Winding Wood has now been running
for nearly two decades. Frankie offers inspiring painting
tuition in the studio at her home.
The studio opens on to the rolling countryside around the
hamlet of Winding Wood and, when weather permits, classes
are held outside in the garden or surrounding countryside.
You will be taught how to paint in watercolour and will take
home all of your paintings at the end of each day. All your
materials are provided.
The painting classes start at ten o’clock each day. On arrival you
will be welcomed and introduced to fellow students with a cup of
Frankie’s famous coffee.
Classes continue until lunchtime when everyone sits down at
one large table in the farmhouse kitchen (or outside in the summer)
to enjoy homemade cooking with wine and conversation of the
other painters.
After lunch the class continues and refreshments of tea and cakes
are served regularly. The days usually close around 4.00 pm.
Any special dietary needs can be catered for so please do mention
in advance if you have any special requirements.
The cost of a weekend is £150 or single days are £85 each both of
which includes lunch, refreshments and all painting materials.
